Default Battlestar--what the huh?

Ok, I will be enormously grateful if someone would explain to me what happened on last week's Battlestar. The Cylons began where? And then blew up who? And made skin jobs why? Centurians wanted resurrection? Skin jobs wanted resurrection? Who makes babies and who doesn't? Dean Stockwell is still alive why? OOOH! So many questions!

Science Fiction shows are among my favorites on tv. Based on the show that aired in 1978, the new Battlestar Galactica dvd takes sci-fi plots to the next level. With great land and space battle scenes, this show leaves little to be desired. Character plots and arcs increase the intrest in the show with great chemistry and humorus lines. With a bleak future presented before the human race, a group of refugees take it upon themselves to find a new homeplanet to settle the race away from their enemies, the Cylons. This show proves just how resistant the human race is aginst adversity.

It all got very Hitchhikery at the end.
- The Battlestar arrived at prehistoric Earth to interbreed and become our ancestors, like the B-Ark.
- There was a guy in a bath on the bridge, like the B-Ark captain.
- They flew spaceships into the sun, like the Diaster Area stunt ship.
- Starbuck used numbers derived from music to get the FTL to jump to Earth, like telephone numbers which were the secret of the Improbability drive in Hitchhiker.

It's been airing on Sci Fi Channel. SO good! The ending was a bit of a mess, I thought, but the show was totally worth five years of dedicated viewing.

And I'm totally naming my kid: Kara "callsign: Satrbuck" Thrace. That's not wrong, is it?
