Process of Immigration Announcements

4:58 pm in Uncategorized by panic

Thanks to immigration services van nuys for bringing the following blog post

The case of Elvira Arellano is symptomatic of the kinds of obstacles we face when trying to enforce immigration laws in the United States. Ms. Arellano is an illegal immigrant who was recently captured in Los Angeles and deported after having been holed up in a Methodist church in Chicago for a year. That church offered her sanctuary last August, just as she was scheduled to appear before immigration authorities for possible deportation proceedings. She had previously been convicted of using a bogus Social Security number. She has a seven-year-old son who is a U.S. citizen by virtue of his birth here during her unlawful stay.

She had planned to go to Washington in September to lobby for immigration reform. She hadn’t made any effort to become a U.S. citizen. Apparently, she was waiting for the government to pass an immigration reform bill that would have handed U.S. citizenship to her on a silver platter, as a reward for her criminal behavior.

First of all, where did Ms. Arellano get the notion that she had a right to lobby Congress? Why did she think she had a right to protest anything in this country? Those rights are reserved for U.S. citizens, not people are in the U.S. illegally.

I’m glad Ms. Arellano was seized and deported by law enforcement officials after she left the church and went to Los Angeles. However, she should have been apprehended before – from the church. Churches that knowingly provide sanctuary to scofflaws of any kind should lose their tax-exempt status. In addition, any of their property and structures used to shelter such persons should be forfeited to the government. Churches have no more right than any other entity or individual to flout the law.

Deporting Ms. Arellano did not necessarily have to break up her family, as she had claimed it would. She was free to take her son with her, even though he is a U.S citizen. Instead, she chose to leave him in the custody of the pastor of the Chicago church where she had been staying. Far too many illegal immigrants are exploiting the “birth” loophole in the U.S. Constitution as a means of remaining in this country. Our Founding Fathers never envisioned such brazen opportunism when they framed the Constitution. It needs to be amended to withhold automatic citizenship from babies born in this country unless at least one of their parents is already a U.S. citizen.

Improving Your Home Features

9:28 pm in Uncategorized by panic

Credit to backhoe services Los Angeles for bringing the following blog post

Renovating your home is an investment that can go a long way financially. However, like with any investment, sometimes the return isn't enough to cover the initial cost. This is something that is very common in home renovation as home owners drown themselves in debt to raise the value of their home, only to find out that the renovations may not have paid for themselves.

If you are cautious with how you invest your money, and are concerned about spending a fortune renovating your home, there are still many smaller improvements you can make.

Inexpensive Home Renovation #1: Make your home energy efficient.

Making your home energy efficient may cost you a lot at first, but it will certainly pay for itself in no time. Just think about how much money you will be saving each year on electricity and gas.

By the same token, installing low-flow faucets increase the convenience of your home while saving you bundles of cash each year. There are also several eco-friendly appliances that qualify for a nice tax break come Uncle Sam.

Inexpensive Home Renovation #2: Fix parts of a kitchen rather than the whole.

One of the first rooms that comes to mind when it comes to home renovation is the kitchen. It makes perfect sense, after all, the kitchen is the one place that is used most often by everyone in the house. For this same reason, homeowners spend a fortune renovating the entire kitchen hoping that it will significantly increase the value of the home.

Unfortunately, with the cost of houses these days, renovating your entire kitchen probably won't give you the best return on your investment. Instead, focus on smaller things like energy efficient appliances, counter tops, or changing the color scheme.

Inexpensive Home Renovation #3: Fix what is necessary in the bathroom.

While bathrooms may give you a better return on investment than the kitchen, rarely will it cover the cost of an expensive renovation. For this reason you should also focus on the smaller things like plumbing and color scheme.

Inexpensive Home Renovation #4: Upgrade the home decor yourself.

The main problem with many houses is that the decor is very outdated. Change the color scheme a little so that your home exhibits timeless color and design. You may be thinking that redesigning your home may cost you a fortune, but many things, like painting the walls, refurbishing furniture, and making new curtains, you can easily do yourself.

Before you take the plunge into financial uncertainty, take a look around your house and see what smaller improvements can be made. If afterwards you still want to invest in a full blown renovation, you can expand on your projects.

The Following Blog Post is from Associated Content and brought to your family by Hunter Ceiling Fan

Your children can’t wait for Christmas Eve to come so that they will get a visit from Santa Claus. They can’t wait to wake up on Christmas day to see what gifts he brought them. Get them excited for that day by decorating your entire home in Santa decor this year. Young or old, Santa Claus represents Christmas in every way to us, and your children will love these Santa decorating ideas.

Santa Decorating Idea #1

This is a fun Christmas decorating idea for the entire family. You will need to buy at least two small rolls of Christmas gift wrap. Try and pick out a Santa design that you love that has a background to it for you are going to be displaying this gift wrap for everyone to see. You will also need to buy some big shimmery bows in gold or silver.

Now you will walk into your living room or family room and take down all hanging pictures from the walls. Have your children gift wrap the photo frames leaving it open where the hook is on the back of the frame. You will have them attach a bow in the center. You will hang these back on the wall making your very own presents. This Santa Christmas decoration idea adds a festive touch to your living room and makes for a great background for photos. You can also add ribbon to the packages if you wish.

Santa Decorating Idea #2

Another great Christmas decorating idea is to find an old Christmas card you received last year of Santa Claus if you have one. If you don’t look online to see if you can find an old vintage Santa Claus postcard or greeting card. At the dollar store buy a 8×10 photo mat, and 8×10 photo frame. You will want to buy the photo mat in a color that will compliment the Santa Christmas card. You will mat the Christmas card in the frame and hang it on the wall. This Santa picture makes a lovely Christmas decor accent.

Santa Decorating Idea #3

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without popular Christmas songs. One of my favorite Santa Claus Christmas decorations I’ve seen this year is a Winter Lane Animated Santa and Mrs. Claus that you can buy at www.hsn.com
for $34.95. Santa is holding a lit candle and Mrs. Claus is holding Christmas gifts. They are standing on opposite sides of an antique lamppost. This Christmas decoration has motion lights and music. It plays the following Christmas songs:
Jingle Bells, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, Silent Night, Deck the Halls, Joy to the World, First Noel, Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Oh Christmas Tree. Your children will love singing along with this Santa decoration and watching it light up with the music. It stand about two feet tall and would look lovely on the side of a fireplace or in front of the Christmas tree.

Santa Decorating Idea #4

I also like the Home Accents Musical Santa that you can buy from www.homedepot.com for $19.99. This Santa Christmas decoration is 2 feet tall and is motion activated. Santa’s mouth moves and sings Here Comes Santa Claus. It would look really nice in front of an entrance way of your home. You can just imagine the photos you can get of your kids with this cute Santa Claus.

Santa Decorating Idea #5

Another great Santa decorating idea is to buy a blow up animated Santa for your front yard. You can find this also at Home Depot for $99.98. It is made by Gemmy and stands 4 1/2 feet tall. Santa is waving from his sleigh and it is pulled by one reindeer. You can buy a spotlight so that it can be seen at night. Your children will love seeing this everytime they pull into your driveway.

Enjoy the Holidays!

New Cleaning Products Announcements

8:00 pm in Uncategorized by panic

Make efforts to see aspiradora today!

As Americans we are inundated with ads attempting to convince us we need a multitude of cleansers for every room of our home. Many don’t realize the key to a sparkling clean home does not require purchasing a specialty cleanser for every separate surface. Chances are you already have exactly what you need for your home to be sanitary and clean without investing in dozens of bottles of commercial cleaners. Your home can be clean and environmentally sound without spending all that much money or time.

Vinegar
People usually have vinegar in their homes for a number of reasons. This common kitchen staple is capable of much more than it seems. White vinegar dissolves dirt, soap scum and hard water stains. It is also mild enough when mixed in a solution to use on hardwood flooring. It absorbs odors and won’t stain your tile or grout. White vinegar is also an excellent fabric softener and is great for people with sensitive skin because it is so gentle. You can do this by adding no more than a half cup undiluted white vinegar to your rinse cycle. To mix in a spray bottle for surface cleaning you would use one cup water per one cup vinegar. This mixture is excellent not only for surface cleaning, but it also works well for cleaning your toilet bowl. If you have harder to clean stains you can use undiluted white vinegar to scrub them away using a pumice stone or scrub brush.

Baking Soda
Okay we have all used baking soda for more than baking, but what many don’t know is that it excellent cleaning agent as well. Put away those Ajax type scouring cleansers, because baking soda works just as well. Placed on a wet sponge not only will it scour, but it is a natural odor absorber. Use it on your bath tub grime or your food stained kitchen sink. For tougher stains mix into a paste and let the mixture sit on the stain for about twenty minutes. Sprinkle baking soda on your carpet, let it sit for twenty minutes and then vacuum it up. Your carpet will smell fresher than ever. Lets not forget that you can also place a box in your freezer for odor control.

Lemons
Well, we have all heard the saying that when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Forget that saying, when life hands you lemons make a natural homemade cleanser. Lemon juice is excellent for dissolving soap scum and hard water stains. Lemon juice is also great for shinning brass and copper. It can be mixed with both vinegar and baking soda for combined cleaning actions and you can also toss the lemon peel through your garbage disposal to freshen it up. If you mix a half cup lemon juice with a one cup of olive oil you have an excellent hardwood furniture polish. The bonus is lemons smell so fresh they are really pleasant to clean with.

Alcohol
Who new you could use alcohol for more than just cleaning cuts? Alcohol makes a great glass cleaner when mixed with a few other of our basic ingredients. Mix one cup rubbing alcohol, one cup water and one tablespoon white vinegar in a spray bottle for streak free shine you won’t soon forget. Clean your windows, mirrors and bathroom fixtures with this solution as well. This combo mixture can also be used to clean your ceramic tile to a high shine.

Tea Tree Oil
While this essential oil may not already be in your home, it definitely worth getting. Tea Tree Oil is so multi-purpose you find yourself using for more than just cleaning. Tea Tree Oil is one of the strongest natural antiseptics, this makes it ideal for use in cleaning. A solution of two teaspoons of Tea Tree Oil mixed in a spray bottle of two cups water can be used to kill mold and mildew stains and odors. The same mixture can also be used as a disinfectant. Tea Tree Oil is also handy for acne, cuts, rashes and a variety of other ailments.

As you can see with a little experimentation and a quick trip to your cupboard you have an entire line of cleaning products right at your disposal. Not only are these products safer for your family, but they are better for the environment. These homemade cleaning remedies will leave your home looking great and smelling fresh for fraction of the price of your normal cleaning cost.

Classic Car Show Announcements

5:02 pm in Uncategorized by panic

If your family like this article, be sure to test out classic cars

The Inland Empire has a new PT Cruiser Car Club. Sunday June 04, 2006 the newly formed Rancho Cucamonga PT Cruiser Club held its first car show at Burger Town , in Ontario, California. Customized PT Cruisers came from all over the Inland Empire to take part in the car show.

Since Chrysler first introduced the PT Cruiser in April of 2000, it has been an instant classic. Never before has any car won the heart of Americans as quickly as this little gem. It debuted with a waiting list over a year long. A mix between a throw back from the roaring 20s and a hint of the 50s and 60s beach cruisers and hot rods, the PT Cruiser has a broad appeal.

Almost from the beginning PT Cruiser owners have been customizing their cruiser and reliving their past with a blast. How can you not pass a PT Cruiser on the street and not notice? The owners are just as unique as their cruisers. PT Cruiser car clubs have been around for as long as the cars themselves.

In fact the PT Cruiser Club with over 15,000 members, of which the Rancho Cucamonga PT Cruiser Club is a chapter of, has been around since 1999. The PT Cruiser Club was founded by Mike and Cindy Challis. In May 2006 they added the Rancho Cucamonga PT Cruiser Club as its 50th chapter.

There was entertainment for the entire family. The morning kicked off with music disc jockeyed by DJ SRM 350. There was a 50/50 drawing, fan belt tossing, raffles and live entertainment. Yes, Elvis was in the house, and he rocked the car show as only a true Elvis impersonator could. You don’t have to own a PT Cruiser to hang out with this bunch. But once you go to just one event you’d have a hard time not running to your nearest Chrysler dealer.

Every first Sunday of the month, Burger Town located at 760 North Archibald, Ontario, California will host the Rancho Cucamonga PT Cruiser Club car show from 9:00am until 12:00 noon. Admission is free and the entertainment is great. For additional information you may call Alexander Mendoza at 909-483-8125 or email him at rcptcruiserclub@aol.com.

Electronic Cigarettes Announcements

8:26 am in Uncategorized by panic

This syndicated article is a great resource for esmoke

There are millions of people hooked to smoking and technology has found answer for those people hooked to the stick. The Electronic Cigarette which is often called the personal vaporizer is an innovative creation that uses a mixture of micro electronic technologies using nicotine cartridges to give a dosage of nicotine when inhaled. What you get is a battery, a mouthpiece and a vaporizer housed using a microchip. With this great technology – microelectronic atomization which vaporizes the nicotine that is in the cartridge to a vapor for so that you can inhale it just like a cigarette.

The electronic cigarettes have the same texture or feel as a conventional cigarette, but it comes with having to light a match, the smoke and the fallout ash. Can this be the perfect way to enjoy the nicotine without having to worry about finding a light.

A lot of smokers feel that smoking has made them somewhat of an outcast, because of people who do not smoke looking down on them simply because they smoke. Since they smoke they are only allowed to eat at the bar at some restaurants or they are completely denied entry in to some places. Smokers are sick of having to step outside in the cold just to light up a cigarette. These situations are very common in places that have obligatory smoking bans.

Electronic Cigarettes with be appreciated by non-smokers over the classic or traditional cigarette just as much as the smokers already do. The electronic cigarette is in not flammable, and does not contain any tobacco, and does not emit any smoke like the classic or traditional cigarettes do. The non smoking crowd can now walk by the smoker without having to hold their breaths.

If you are a non smoker you would not realize that the average price of a pack of cigarettes in the United States is about 5.50 a pack. If you smoke a pack of cigarettes everyday like most smokers it would cost you about $165
dollars in one month. Over a year, that is just under $2000 dollars. Just imagine what you could buy with that kind of money if you were not spending it on a one-time smokes!

Do the new electronic cigarette systems allow you to keep your hard earned money. It is a lot cheaper to use the same cigarette over and over again. This saves you from buying cigarettes over and over again and frequent trips to convenience stores. Instead of smoking another cigarette you just recharge your electronic cigarette wit a battery type charger. They even have a USB cable to charge your device making it very convenient.

One of the great things of not having real cigarettes is no dirty ash trays to clean; no reason to blast the air with spray deodorizers. and you don’t have to worry about throwing away your cigarette butts. When you visit your friends or family you will not have to worry about them sending you outside to smoke anymore and that awful lingering order that used to go everywhere with you will be gone. You can now get great Electronic cigarettes and put some fun into smoking again.

Spa Supplies Stories

The Pursuing Story is brought to customers by spa products

It was that time of year again to take the family on vacation. This year, we decided to trade out our timeshare at Cibola Vista Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona, for one at the Palm Canyon Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, California.

The trip started out great. It was only a three-hour drive with plenty of good sites to see on the way. We were pleased with appearance of the resort when we arrived.

As we stood in line at the 4 p.m. check in time, there was an assortment of people ahead of us. We chatted with people around us and listened to the noise of the front desk. The attendant clearly wasn’t having as good a day as we were. One couple was upset that their room was not a pool side room. They demanded a pool side room and would wait on the sofa until the attendant fixed the situation. Another lady also had issues and she made a few unprintable comments to the rest of us waiting in line. Hum, I hoped that I still had a room.

It was our turn next and everything went smooth. They had a two bedroom, one bath suite waiting for us; however, it was not poolside. Should we have complained also? No. We were excited to be on vacation and it was more quiet on the backside with beautiful views of the mountain.

The room was pretty nice, but they liked to mix cheap particle board furniture in with nicer furniture. We had a large balcony, a fully equipped kitchen, and a Jacuzzi style hot tub in the bathroom. I took the computer with us so that I could do a little work while I was there, but that turned out to be the one thing that drove me crazy. We were near the end of the building and the wireless signal was not very strong. In order for me to use the internet, I had to walk down the hall about two doors and sit on the floor.

After we settled into our room, it was time to explore the resort. They have a gorgeous pool with two sections: A shallow end for kids and a deeper end. The shallow end featured two slides separated by a rope. My son enjoyed the little slide and I enjoyed the big slide. The shallow end ranged from one and a half feet to four feet. The deeper end ranged from three feet to five feet and sported a volleyball net for recreation. We spent a lot of time in the pool as the water was excellent.

Between the two pools was a large rock formation with tables at the top and the start of the big slide. Several waterfalls provided a smoothing and relaxing aura. A tunnel inside the Rock formation led to a set a bathrooms and a hot tub that peered through one of the falls overlooking the pool. They had a towel section and the attendant would fill up any of your floatable devices for free. They had another hot tub on the outside of the rocks near the end of the pool set at a hot 103 degrees.

They had a bar at the side of the pool and a restaurant where you could order food. We never tried the bar, but we did eat from the restaurant. I tried to order a pizza from the room and I requested to pick it up. I was told that if I wanted to pick it up I would have to go there and order it, which I did. I went down and ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which they made in record time. Although the pizza was good, we soon realized why it was done in record time, it could have been cooked a little more. Oh, back to the room.

The room came with ants free of charge. I called the front desk and, maintenance came up and sprayed the bathroom. The next day, my wife found ants in the kitchen. Again we called, again they quickly sent someone up to spray, again we found ants, but why call, they were just going to send up another band aid to fix the situation that required more. My one-year old daughter ended up having over twenty bites. When I told the attended at the front desk, she seemed unfazed and she offered nothing for our situation. Okay, back to exploring the resort.

They had a nice activity room with a pool table, a large TV with some outdated movies to watch, a Macintosh computer that you could use if you knew how to and bought the internet service, which was cheap at $20 dollars for a seven day period. They also had a game room around the corner with three or four games.

It was time to check out the exercise room. I have yet to find a good exercise room in either a resort or a hotel. This resort had a larger weight room than normal with two treadmills, several dumbbells, and a few weight machines. The equipment was tired and needed replaced, but it was a better exercise room than normal. They also had an indoor basketball court, which could be viewed through the exercise room’s large windows.

The resort also had a spa for facials and massages, a guest services office and a sales office just in case you were interested in buying time at the resort. It was now time to see what Palm Springs had for entertainment.

We went to the concierge desk and he was very helpful. They had lot of brochures and he knew the area well. We visited several entertainment spots such as Boomer’s, the Living Desert, San Jacinto State Park, Downtown’s Thursday night street party, and several restaurants through out the Palm Springs, Cathedral City, and Desert Palms area.

Overall, this resort had a nice look to it, the pool was excellent, the customer service could be improved, the room was nice and spacious, the parking was limited, and the internet was horrible in the our end unit.

Palm Canyon Resort and Spa was and is a good place for a family vacation. No place is perfect and as for the people that were unhappy when we checked in, you can’t please everyone and someone will always find something to complain about.

Would we return to this resort? If we were to go to Palm Springs again, probably. Would I recommend this resort to someone else? I would if the Marriott Resort was full or unavailable. To cap it off, we had an excellent time on our vacation.
